A badge means the Palestine Photographers team has verified the identity and work of the page owner.

Badge types

Red badge — verified photojournalist

Given to photojournalists after verifying their identity and work.

Blue badge — verified photographer

Given to photographers after verifying their identity and work.

Gold badge — verified director

Given to directors after verifying their identity and work.

Green badge — in loving memory

Honoring a Palestinian photographer who has passed away.

Distinction badge — outstanding presence

For a Palestinian photographer with an outstanding presence.

How do I get verified?

  1. 1 Join the directory and complete your page (photo, bio, work, links).
  2. 2 Sign in and send a verification request from your dashboard with proof of your identity and work.
  3. 3 The team reviews your request and grants the right badge.

The VPPS: Verified Photography Ps badge means Palestine Photographers has confirmed that this profile genuinely belongs to the person it represents.

Requirements

  • Authentic: represents a real, confirmed person or entity.
  • Notable: a well-known person or entity with multiple sources (paid or promotional content is not considered).
  • Complete: profile photo, city, links and recent activity showing real work.

Verified profiles cannot be transferred or repurposed; doing so may remove the badge.
